Plant Care guidance
Helping your plants thrive, gently.
Plants aren’t all the same and that’s part of the joy of living with them.
Some like bright light, some prefer a quieter corner and most will tell you what they need if you learn their rhythm.
This page is here to help you care for your plants simply and confidently, without overcomplicating it.
Plant Care, Made Simple
Light matters most
Most houseplants prefer bright, indirect light. Too little light can slow growth, while too much direct sun can scorch leaves.
Don’t Overwater
This is the big one. Always check the soil before watering - if the top couple of inches still feel damp, leave it a little longer.
Humidity Helps
Many houseplants love a little extra moisture in the air, especially tropical varieties. Bathrooms, kitchens, humidifiers, humidity tray’s and grouped plants can all help.
Feed Gently
During the growing season (Spring & Summer) plants benefit from a little extra nourishment. A diluted feed every few weeks is usually plenty.
Let Them Settle
If you’ve just bought a plant home, give it time. A little leaf drop or adjustment is normal while it gets used to its new environment.
what your plant might be telling you
Yellow Leaves
Usually a sign of overwatering or poor drainage.
Brown crispy edges
Often caused by dry air, underwatering or too much direct sun.
Drooping leaves
Can mean with too much or too little water - check the soil first.
No growth
Usually a light issue, especially in darker months.
Pests
Check under leaves and around new growth regularly. If you spot anything unusual, isolate the plant and treat it early.
Plant elixir
Plant Elixir is our gentle houseplant feed, created to support healthy growth and help your plants thrive at home.
Dilute 2ml in 1 litre of water and use during your usual watering routine.
how often
Use every 2-4 weeks during Spring & Summer and more sparingly in Winter.

Every plant is different - always feed gently and allow the soil to dry appropriately between watering.
